If I register a figurative trademark, will the wording be registered as well?

The wording is protected as part of the figurative mark, not as a standalone wordmark. If the text is distinctive and dominant, any use in isolation by a third party may constitute infringement. However, this implicit protection is narrower than what a dedicated wordmark registration would give you.

A figurative mark registration does not give you the same breadth of protection over the words alone as a wordmark. If protecting the words in any visual context is the priority, a separate wordmark application is the appropriate route.
