Can I add a logo to an existing trademark?

No. Once a trademark application has been filed, it is not possible to add elements to it. The mark as filed is fixed; adding a logo to a pending or registered wordmark would constitute a change to the mark itself, which is not permitted.

If you want to protect a combined version of your name and logo, a new application must be filed for the combined mark. This is a separate registration from the wordmark and does not replace it.
