Which option is most suited for my online business - word or logo trademark?

For most online businesses, protecting the name as a wordmark is the higher priority. Online brand recognition typically centers on the business name, which appears in search results, domain names, social media handles, and customer reviews. A wordmark protects the name in any form it is displayed online.

If your visual brand identity, such as a distinctive logo or icon, is equally central to how customers recognize you, a figurative mark should be registered alongside the wordmark. A combined mark (name and logo together) is a practical option if the budget allows only one registration, as it covers the brand as it is most commonly used.
