After I file a trademark application, would adding a logo have any additional charges?

Adding a logo to an existing or pending trademark application is not possible; the mark cannot be changed after filing. If you want to protect a version of the mark that includes a logo, a new separate application must be filed.

This new application carries its own set of government fees and goes through the full registration process independently. It does not affect the existing application or registration.
