Can I add goods and services after filing?

No. The goods and services list cannot be expanded after the application has been submitted. The scope of a trademark application is fixed at the time of filing and can only be narrowed thereafter, not broadened.

If additional goods or services need to be covered, a new application must be filed. This is a common situation for growing businesses that expand their offering after the original trademark was registered; each new area of activity requires a new application in the relevant class.
