A trademark certificate is the official document issued by an IP office confirming that a trademark has been successfully registered. Trademark owners use it to prove ownership over a specific registration. It includes the registration number, the owner's details, the mark itself, the classes and goods/services covered, and the registration date.

The certificate is the primary proof of trademark ownership and is used when enforcing the mark, licensing it, transferring ownership, or enrolling in services such as Amazon Brand Registry. Most IP offices now issue electronic certificates by default, though paper copies can usually be requested.
