Is it possible to register a trademark with more than one owner?

Yes. A trademark application can name multiple owners, and all will be listed as joint owners on the registration. Alternatively, the parties can form a separate legal entity (such as an LLC) to hold the trademark and license its use to each owner's business.

A joint ownership agreement setting out each party's rights, responsibilities, and the terms for enforcement or transfer is strongly advisable before filing a jointly owned trademark.
