A trademark protects the unique elements of a brand's identity. These include brand names, produt names, logos, mascots, and taglines..

The scope of your trademark's protection is determined by its jurisdiction and the goods and services listed in your application.

Jurisdiction: Trademark rights are territorial. Protection applies only in countries where the trademark is successfully registered, with a separate application required in each jurisdiction.

Goods and services class: under the Nice Classification system, trademarks are registered in one or more of 45 defined classes. Each class covers a specific category of goods or services (e.g., Class 25 covers clothing). Protection applies only within the registered classes.
