The ™ and ℠ symbols both signal a brand's intent to claim and register a trademark. The main difference between them is that ℠ is used for service marks (brands offering services), while ™ is used for brands offering products rather than services.

The ℠ symbol is more commonly used in the US. Globally, the™ symbol is generally recommended for businesses offering both services and products.
