When can I start using the trademark symbol on our products?

The ™ symbol can be used as soon as a mark is being used to represent a business in commerce. Its purpose is to indicate that the mark is being used as a trademark and to signal a claim of ownership, regardless of registration status.

Using the ™ symbol before registration is complete is common and permissible; it serves as notice to others while the application is in progress.
