Can invoices act as proper specimens of use?

Invoices can serve as proper specimens of use for services but not goods. And even for services, they might get refused if they don't clearly refer to the applied-for services. For example, where "Marketing consultation" might be seen as a clear reference to marketing consultation services under Class 35, "Consultation fee" might not be.

Therefore, to be on the safest side, for services, we usually recommend website screenshots or advertising materials before invoices to our clients.
