Yes. Two companies can file a trademark application as joint owners or convert an existing registration to joint ownership through a partial assignment. Both companies are listed on the registration and share the associated rights.

An alternative is to form a separate legal entity to hold the trademark, with each company receiving a license. This structure gives each company clarity on its usage rights and insulates the trademark from the commercial fate of either company individually.
