I have received an office action containing "non-substantive" issues. Do I have to do anything?

Yes, you still need to respond to a non-substantive office action formally and within the specified deadline. Ignoring an office action (even if it raises only procedural issues) will result in abandonment of the application if the deadline passes without a response.

The good news is, the response process for non-substantive issues tends to be simple. You should address the specific issues raised by the IP office, submit the response through the IP office's portal, and the application will proceed if the amendments are accepted. The simpler the issue, the less time it takes to resolve.
