When should I renew my trademark?

Start the renewal process as soon as you’re able to. This is typically six months before expiry in most jurisdictions, but up to 12 months in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

If you miss the renewal window, most jurisdictions still allow late renewal during a six-month grace period after expiry, but expect to pay a surcharge. After the grace period closes, the trademark lapses entirely.

Trama handles trademark renewals; get a renewal reminder before your deadline.
