No. Trademark registration is available to individuals and unincorporated entities as well as registered companies. You can file a trademark application under your personal name at any stage, including before the company exists.

Once the company is incorporated, ownership of the trademark can be transferred to it through a trademark assignment if that is the preferred structure.
