How much time do I have to submit the Statement of Use?

You have six months from the date of the Notice of Allowance to file the Statement of Use. If more time is needed, you can request a six-month extension before the deadline expires. Up to five extensions are available, giving a maximum of 36 months from the Notice of Allowance date.

Each extension request carries an additional fee and must be filed before the current deadline expires. Missing a deadline without filing an extension request results in the application being abandoned.
