I filed for the US trademark already; which countries should I consider next as a priority?

The priority depends on where your customers are and where your brand is most at risk of being copied. Start with the markets where you are already commercially active or where you plan to expand soon.

The next jurisdictions most US-based brands consider are the EU (covering all 27 member states through one EUIPO filing), the UK, Canada, and Australia. If you sell significantly in Asia or other regions, China, Japan, and other relevant markets should follow. The easiest way to decide on your next trademark jurisdiction is to assess which country/region is the most commercially relevant to you in terms of revenue and recognition. If you file within six months of your US application date, you can claim Paris Convention priority in each new jurisdiction.
