The Date of First Use Anywhere is the earliest date on which the mark was first used in commerce in connection with the goods or services anywhere in the world, including outside the US. It refers to the date goods were first sold or transported, or services were first rendered, under the mark.

This date is reported in a US trademark application and is distinct from the Date of First Use in Commerce, which refers specifically to use in US interstate or international commerce. Both dates are required in a US application filed on a use-in-commerce basis.
